10 boys
High decile city school. Interesting bunch of boys. Very capable, but not too willing to get their hands dirty. Wanted fun handed to them on a plate without doing any work. They did however, get some good stuff done.
Day 1 - Tawhitikuri stream, down the Mother of Jenny, High ropes in the afternoon, we did the Giants Ladder, which they did very poorly, so we had a good debrief and then did the trust fall.
Day 2 - Trapeze, this time they did awesomely, putting in some effort, pushing themselves beyond their fears and 8/10 got it. Caving in the afternoon.
Day 3 - Tube rafting and sit on tops on the Lower Tongariro.
Day 4 - Canoeing on Lake O, then walked to Club Med campsite where we took a bearing across to Te Porere , got slightly off line and ended up crawling through gorse for an hour at the end. Was excellent for them. Camped at Hunters.
Day - Adventure based cleaning, they had an early leave time.
