Hukarere Girls

6 girls

Age 16

Observer: Lisa (diploma student)

In the past students from this school had been quite difficult and not willing to push themselves or get dirty. My girls started out somewhat this way, but I set some tough challenges for them and they actually came through really well and we ended on a great note.

Day 1 - ABL, low ropes, high ropes, flying fox.

Day 2 - Canoeing, Pukehinau abseil.

Day 3 - Tramping out for overnight, out to the caves via Jo's cave.

Day 4 - Caving in the Okupata, then walked back to OPC.

Day 5 - Tawhai falls jump.
