Day 1
Okupata cave, up the dry valley, the Pukehinau stream was very high, we have it a shot going upstream, but we retreated. Very good learning for the boys.
Day 2
Local day. Bush bashed to the DUB, flying fox, high ropes.
Day 3
Tongariro tubing. Swimming skills at red hut, then took tubes up stream and tubed back down.
Day 4
Walked from Iwakau to just below the top cafe and set up camp. Made our way towards the Dome via restful ridge but it got too solid and icy. Had some self arresting and sliding fun. Back down to camp.
Day 5
Walked off the mountain.
