14/15 year olds
A very challenging week. All boys had offended in some way and had broken family's. It was not easy to motivate them, but by the end of the week we had started some sort of bond and they would work with me and each other and we achieved some cool things.
Day 1 - High Ropes (giants ladder), taught them how to make a sling harness, bush bash to Pumice Cave Stream, walked down to the waterfall, lowered them off in their made harnesses, walked back up the Mangatepopo to the DUB.
Day 2 - Cold wet day, joined with Tim's group and went for a tube float on the flooded Te Whaiou Stream then orienteering.
Day 3 - Ti Hia, a crazy wet and wild day with a great Nav mission coming down, was meant to be doing a cross over trip with Tim's crew but the got a bit lost.
Day 4 - Okupata cave, then Where the Wild Things Are to Conical Hill for overnight.
Day 5 - Walking back up the very slippery track to base.
