Fox Neve

Instructors: Rob Dunn and Andy Fullterton

Group: Me, Pete, Tim and Brad

Third year mountain week, we flew up the Fox Neve, unfortunately the weather wasn't too flash.

Day 1: Very windy, but headed out and up Grey Peak.

Day 2: Attempt at Lendenfield Peak, unfortunately it was too windy to go any further than Marcel Col..

Day 3: Bad weather day, and due to a storm all night, high avalanche danger, so we spend some time hanging out in the hut and then the afternoon on crevasse rescue and snow anchors close to the hut.

Day 4: Decided we should walk down to Chancellor hut as there was lots more bad weather on the way. Very low visibility navigation down to the hut and called the helicopter in just in time to fly out.

Day 5: Spent the morning in the local hall practicing rescues.
