Otaki Forks to Hut. Started out fine then heavy rain and winds up to 80km.

After an electrical storm, snow, hail and rain with high winds
that night, the weather continued for the day so we stayed in the
hut, knowing that the ridge along the tops is very narrow.

Weather settled, medium to light winds, but very poor
visibility. Followed the ridge and finally at the end of the day the
skies cleared some.

Rained all night, so we had some concerns about the river.
Again, very strong winds 80km plus along exposed tops, with hail.
River crossing proved fine, walked out to road.
