Story
Day 1/2
Chloe and I had been working for weeks over the last few months to create the problem solving challenges for the first two days of Hillary Challenge. My challenges included, Mountain Biking skills, Abseiling (for a first aid scenario), SRT skills in the High Ropes, Fred Dagg mud challenge, "Key Pad" submerged in the pool, Orienteering on the lake, and raft building.
Our job was to oversee the smooth running of these challenges and support the instructors running them.
Day 3/4
Rogaine for the competitors. I had two days off.
Day 5
Running, paddling and cycling adventure race for the teams. Instructors were marshalling. I was called out as part of a team to carry back a competitor with a suspected broken ankle.
