A highly motivated and capable group.
Day 1
Caving, took them through both caves via the dry valley, still very cold!
Day 2
High ropes (wobbly bridge, fixed beam, monkey vines and big swing) then Mangatepopo tube float.
Day 3
Started at Iwakau Village and nav'ed to Taranaki Falls, was planning to abseil, but ran out of time, out to Whakapapa village.
Day 4 and 5
Overnight in heavy rain. Got a blind drop off near Te Porere and nav'ed to Jo's Cave. Haven't done that in a long time, went really well. Met Joel's group (from the same school) at camp and all 19 of them camped together in Jo's. Great night. Walked back to base in the morning.
