This was a support week, I was mostly doing First aid and random jobs, but did get to do some work on the Pukehinau Gorge.
Nic and I did a trip down there to find the cable that used to be used for abseiling into it. We found it and marked it on the GPS to find it from above. Moved some wood that creating a strainer in the main gorge.
Next day I went back on my own to try and find the cable from the top. No luck, the GPS said I was within 9m from it, but I kept getting buffed out and did not have a rope. Will have to go back with a rope and then find an easier way once I've found it.
