Ruapehu
Day 1: Got to the car park at about mid day, kitted the boys out and we made our way up the ridge that leads to the Alpine Club Hut where we stayed for the night.
Day 2: Average weather so we stayed lowish and did some ice axe skills, step cutting and self arresting practice. Spent the afternoon building snow caves, got them done just in time for dark.
Day 3: Got they boys out of their snow caves and made our way back down via the Amphitheater to the car park.
